For a 633 fgt with 2 26inch gar and 1 24inch rtc, feeding once a day 13mp what do you reccomend?

Hi I would like to know if there any indicator to show that the hydra or stream's electro-plates and Cata-Pure cartridges. Since I going to purchase it as add on I may not notice any difference. Please kindly advise the best way to monitor if the gadget is working in case somehow it break down after a few months.unlucky.

Hi bro,

Sorry for my late reply. There is a blue LED indicator on all the hydra stream model to show that it is working. There is no indicator on Hydra internal but if the pump is still running, the plates are still working as well. Another way to monitor whether is Hydra still working is checking on the electro-plates, if it is functioning, 1 of the plates will be dark brown or black in color.

However, there is no indicator on the cata-pure cartridges, therefore it is advisable to change the replacement cartridges yearly as not to affect the efficiency of Hydra.

Hi. Thank you for your explanation and I have brought hydra 50. A month ago. For regular maintenance, can i remove the electro plates from the filter compartment to do the cleaning?

Hi bro,

Kindly do not attempt to remove the electro plates during maintenance as you might risk damaging it, thanks. It is ok even if you do not clean the plate as the brownish appearing on the plates are due to oxidation and it does not affect the performance of Hydra filter.

Boss, I bought the hydra 50 and come with 2 cartridges. Do I put both cartridges or just 1 only.

HI Bro,

Kindly use all the cartridges provided and have it replace after 1 year of usage.
