Not sure, but if they have, by all means you can buy just make sure its suitable for your holder as its unlikely that lighting shops would sell light hoods for aquarium use.

ok i have a question here.
a 15watts Reef Sun 50/50 (made in germany) states "50/50 combination of 6500K trichromatic daylight phosphor and actinic 420 phosphor in the same lamp" Does this mean if I use 2 of these I do not need to use a seperate actinic tube to promote coraline algae growth? currently I am using one of this for my nano tank and I have noticed some coraline algae growth on my tank walls recently so this might mean that reef sun 50/50 does indeed have actinic 420nm spectrum in them??? I intend to use them for a 2ft tank that holds mainly soft corals and a lobster. Might try to sneak in a boxer shrimp to test if they can survive with the lobster heh... |
