Just sharing some pics of my previous NTTs which i consider as quite thick bar . Around 5-6" at that time, unfortunately never got to see it to adulthood.
But agree with what radiolite22 said about base colour for NTT will never be same as ST or IT. |

IT normally will also have broader n more robust body shape than NTT.

i personally saw a piece of tiger at seargoon LFS (BP). First look i thought i spotted a gem...stable IT with NTT tail marking. I thought is my Lucky day liao so climb up a mini stair as tank is located abit high. Observed a little while, somehow i become confuse if it is really a IT (sry still noob in tiger fish).
So ask the owner and she told me is a NTT. The tiger fish led me to think is a IT at 1st glace coz the bar is really thick and nice. BTW it is est 4" |

aiya.... no such thing as Worth based on Price$....
....still a nice fish... regardless of stripes... ...... eat well ... maintain active & healthy... more important.. keep what u like.... not what is 'cheap' or 'value for money' my 2 sens |
