Sorry to say.
I've the FM10000 and that part can be unscrewed. Its screw diameter is 40mm so I'm using a 40mm screw in pipe up. Other models may be different diameter.

I bought a FM 8000 today. The intention was to get a higher output compare to my current newjet6000... Both stating the same consupmtion (70w) but regret to see the FM 8000 output weaker than the NJ6000 ...

Should have gone for FM10000....
