Maybe he was thinking, what's this chinaman doing in somebody's car... but who cars, not my car anyway

Sadly, that's how PAP works. We pay to let them learn. Most ministers have no experience in the ministry they are in. Vivian Balakrisnan is a Doctor by training, he was the ex CEO of SGH/Singhealth before politics. From doctor to longkang? I'm not convinced.

At least when Teo Chee Hean became minister of defense, I'm quite able to accept, afterall he was a retired General (tho none earned their stars thru war)

He's a top debater from NJC, credentials are pretty good. However, I don see him up. seems to be a lack of focus in implementing policies, doesn't bother to understand the dynamics and implications or consequences of what he says or passed into law. Culling cats is just one example. the other famous phrase when asked to raise the allowance to the destitute poor is something like "where do they eat in, hotels, restaurants, or hawker centers?", and this brought tears to Lily Neo's eyes when she recounted the incident.

If you are old AMK resident.
You will know. That area all along will water trap when raining.

Before they reno the whole AMK centre. Trap a bit
after reno, Trap more.
Before NTUC, come in. That area was selling cloths.. like BHG.
When heavy rain, the water went into the shop, wet the carpet.

Just that this round is NTUC, so.. up the newspaper headline.

I don't need Minister, Minster of State, NEA, LTA, TC to tell me flood is due to sudden heavy downpour. My 5 yrs old son also know.

Tell me WHY heavy downpour will flood the area because drain choked? Lousy planning? Pumps at marina unable to pump fresh water to the sea?

Debators may not make good policy makers, it's big mistake for anyone to think otherwise. loctors may make good policy makers, there are good loctors, there are also evil loctors as well. or idiotic policy makers.
Who is who is for all to judge. Debators, loctors, and idiots. I oso don know who is who, I can guess but I may be wrong lor!
Their words and actions give them their own condemnation. Or saving grace.
