Happen to see a fly while trying to capture mealworm picture.

Pretty satisfying with the reverse lens shooting on them.

nice shots koji! tried it on my alpha.. both 50mm/f1.8 and kit lens.. cannot leh? cant even see what i shoot on the viewfinder or live view.. hmm...

Must be real close to the object. That's why it's best used on object with very minimum movement.

For those two insect pictures I took, I'm using a 18-55mm lens reversed. Shooting distance is almost as close as 1 inch plus to the object.

Another thing must take notice is that the object got to be brightly lited so that the lens can capture it's presence. That's why I took the pictures under the sun just now. Sometime indoor light not bright enough. Plus the more you zoom in the brighter the place must be.

The main reason I learning this is to capture small object in detail. Especially I'm keeping shrimps now so it'll be fun and challenging to learn this trick and produce nicer pictures.

Bro, why not just get those macro converter? Those converters also able to be mounted on normal lens rite?

i gave it another try, and the results is simiar to the use of raynox-250 on lens.. i guess more practice i will have some more decent pics to post here.
