TDS level for my 2ft tank

You can increase TDS not just with mineral plus. Mineral plus is primarily for GH I feel.
You can try mosura Rich water, shrimp tonic, gravidas and all those tonic/supplements from benibachi

Anything that dissolves will gradually increase the TDS

Hmm, i using rich water, shrimpt tonic, gravidas currently. But my Tds is only 110 +-

I have 2 pcs of mineral rock in my 2ft tank as well

Finally gt my API kh & GH test kit from c328. Hmm, lst KH test. Add 1 drop to the 5ml.. Its never turn blue...totally clear... Add until around 5 drops, solution turn yellow... My water too soft?


2nd test, GH...
Add 5 drops, its turn from orange to green. 5 drops = 89.5ppm ? from the chart.

My current ph is around 6.4, tds around 115...
Soil = Ada 2 as base and mosura soil on top..
I using peat, by the way.

Any advise to up the TDS?

Hee hee, im using sera range test kits. Not sure about what colour you means.

Wait for a week or 2, since yours is a new tank, the TDS may go up a bit. If needed, by then you can use TDS Up.

Erm master silane, forgot to mention my tank is running for close to a yr alrdy.. Nt a new tank setup

Wah, have you tested your tap water?
Mine's in Queenstown and its already 60-70. How you manage to get only 100+- with using all these products?
My tank is 160+

You use any carbon filters or change water often?

Hi bro navanod, I found it weird also! Tht why come online to seek for advice. I staying at toa payoh and my tap water is around 70 Tds.

I using all mosura products , richwater, bioplus, mineral plus etc.. But my Tds still remain around 113 plus.. I change 20% water once a wk, use tape water only.. No carbon filter used... Peat and Minerial rocks used in my tank...
My 2ft tank is powered by 1 2213, 1 gex slim hang slim, 1 pre filter powered by power head and 1 k1 prefilter in my tank .. My filter media consist of eheim substrat, substrat pro and biohome.. Totally no carbon used..

My aged water is around TDS 60-70 too.

heavenkid, you can gradually increase your tank TDS through numerous WC over a period of time. Set your aged water TDS slightly higher than your current tank TDS. TDS increment can be achieved by using Mosura Minerinal Plus only, you don't need others to supplement it.
