vivariums setup to share

its a very specialised site and you can learn a lot be it u are a keeper or not

haha. bro. no body as u to look at the design of the webby lah. wat the person wanna show is already enough. next time u go design a web site something like those. serving same purpose. than let us judge if u have nice photos and nice webby or not lah. all we are looking at is only the photos for inspirarion thats all

no lah bro armageddon, think leo trying to mean the design of the planted tanks for newts found in that forum.

anyway Leo, for newts(aquatic) ones the design are kept simple for a reason, they need both land and water area, and most of the while the water area they need is about 80% of your setup, and if u want your tank to be outstanding, simple logic would tell you that the tank would be more like an aquatic planted tank.

this would in turn cause feeding to be difficult as most of the time u may have to meddle with the tank and u would want the food to be easily sourced by them wouldnt u? on top of it filtration is another problem, the outlet vs your newts! and not all species lives in deep water. haha so sometimes the easier way out is to have a simple setup or....... keep dart frogs loh.

terrariums are easier to maintain and to setup especially in our region due to the easily available mosses and temperature. other countries have to struggle with humidity control and heater and for them sometimes mosses are not so cheap.

just too bad both newts and darts are not available here. haha and definitely its not wise to go against the law to import. for me sometimes its just cross fingers and open eyes big big and see if lfs do bring in one or two
