Sorry to reply you so late, if there are lump, it mean that the area have been infected by bacteria, just like us human when we have a cut and did not treat it, the cut would swollen with lump of watery bacteria. Use salt would generally help in the healing.

If white spot appear on the area, the fish have been affected by fugus. Some medication may be need but have to apply case by case basis generally Aquamedi Multicure work well. And the fish should be feed on non-live feeder like Market prawn.

Ketapang leave can be added to both cases because it do act like some kind of medication,
