I guess you nitrate means nitrite. If you have a small spare pump, install just below the surface to agitate water surface to promote more oxygen exchange. Try to prevent the pH going down. The main thing is to watch n observe closely the situation.
thanks bro. didnt know got such calculator.

btw, i have checked. key in the details. 0.3% salt = 1529.11g. that mean 1.5kg is it for real?

Yes that is real! You must take note the followings:

1. If no salt been used before, do it slowly like 0.1% alternate days.

2. Do not introduce undissolve salt directly to the tank.

3. Dissolve the salt using the tank water.

4. Pour into the tank slowly. If sump user, pour into the sump.

like that one. alamak last time what i do, just throw the salt in the tank wah pianz. ok will do and update later. also afterward me going to NA to put air pump.

after putting abt 1.5kilo of salt and buy Atman air-pump at NA, look like my aro seems to be doing ok, but still once in a while open and close it mouth. at least ok compared to this morning. thanks all the bro for help.

Hi,
From my experience , 0.3% for 100L of water did not mean add 300g of salt for 100L of water, it mean 0.3% salt level in the water. I have manage to acheive 0.3% of salt level by using less than 200g of salt, That is really depend on the salt concentration in the salt itself. the best way is to use a salt meter to test.

Hi Bro,

looks my tank water clear oledi. and its already been few days i never give makan to my fish. everytime, i walk near to the tank, the fish will come near, think hungry liao. do u think now is the best time to feed them or do i have to wait another few more days.
