Mainly due to Chloramine. Altho our tap water con't to be fit for drinking (I try not to drink direct ), it has worsen for fish keeping .
Never change direct from tap water at > 25%. Some members might claim no problem even at 50% but the best is dun take chances; as some of the houses/apts/flats have water tanks on their roofs which serve as a containment for aging, esp those living on higher floors. Others will get direct tapping from PUB and that will be problematic if u chge too much. When u get this kind of situation, increase aeration and add slime replenishment medicine (I like the stress coat with aloe vera). Also add salt to prevent secondary attack. Heater is not necessary... |

Urs also because of water changing?? for me nv add any medication, just add salt and blackwater....i nv change any wools coz wools still new...change for about 1 week only....juz let the filter run and everything should be fine in about 3days time.....haaha nw dun dare to change more then 30% of water.....

My aro got tis problem too after changing water.

Thanks for all the advice here. The 3 protuding scale has close back already. My Red swimming happily now. Multicure is really good. Maybe I got the treatment fast enough. But I will still use it for around 1week just incase it come back.

hehe bro actually when i am treating my aro i continue feeding lei but dun feed too much....i tink u wait till tomolo change water again then start to feed little bit...Coz water gt medication its better nt to overfed juz feed little.....Add salt plz thanks........
