I encounter this problem on my aro oso. Check with the LFS owner and he told me is PH shock! Dun know truth or not as I dun monitor water parimeter. Ask me to change 10% water every day, increase water temp to 30 to 32 degreeC and monitor. Took about 1 week plus to back to normal, but appetite get back to normal after 2 mths plus.

thanks for everything Koji, i'll give the turning off of heater a try later tonight when i get home. come to think of it I think my aro is like the owner-back ache... hehe have a nice day =)

Give it a few days and see how. I have seen abatch of young aros due to high temp in the tank all hunched up like yours before. But after lowering the water temp, they start to straighten back to normal.
