Sorry we could not help.
The sudden death is an indication the fish was sick when you bought it. Either this or it could be the food, but we need to hear from others if what you have fed is okay. Quote:

i just tried dosing and 24hrs method with befuran (yellow power). got a little improvement in swimmng/balancing. But still not eating yet. Care to try? Maybe you might have better results than me.

Not eating or appetite drop during sickness and treatment are normal for our fishes. No worry.

Good News. I think i have success with Befuran when Interpret 9 failed after almost 2 months of trying various internal bacterial medications and tedious water changes as part of the treatment process. The fish is finally eating like glutton again just an hour ago.
I dunno where the right button was pressed but i'm sure it's either the dosing or 24 hours (i did a 48 hours once) treatment process that worked or maybe a combination of all of them. BTW, i tried the following medications for internal bacterial infection which i almost gave up (thank god i perservered): 1) Ocean Free No.1 - for about 1 to 2 weeks 2) Interprest 9 - for about 2 to 3 weeks 3) Befuran for about 3 weeks (combination of dosing and 24 hours method) |
