Take note of our tap water today, is diff fr last time liao. Use Seachem Prime if u can, it will help a lot. Btw, if ur ray is under stress fr water problem like burn or chem stress, do not change water or transfer it to another tank, it will speed up the RIP process.

thanks bro tay. that's great info. yes, I'd bought seachem prime, will use tmr for WC...amaze and sceptical abt the dosage coz using so little compared to other water conditioners....

Hi bro genki, the fella had recovered, eating as usual... so glad!
one thing is after this incident, the body spots changed a lot, not so nice liao....anyway, expect it to morph.... got time, i take picture to show before and after.

shld have take photo when it is burnt and losing slime.... i refrain from doing so as when i did that ladt time for my ex-otorongos, they up lorry!

slow flow rate as recommended.....today I did the water tests again, the HDB tap water is PH 8.5! I using Seachem Prime now as my water conditioner and I will WC twice instead of once a week now...also, WC will reduce to 15% instead of my normal 25% weekly WC

Thumbs up Happy Recovery

A further update, this fellow recovering very well and eating as usual. The spots also become better.

As advised by bro toe_toe7, now changed to Seachem Prime as conditioner and WC twice a week....cannister filters service every month (rinse media)....shiong but worth it
