Snow leopard is not an offical name its a SP ray from Xingu in Brasil. Pattern is close to Scobina, Orbginy and such rays but its a much larger ray and lives in deep waters and not shallow like Scobina and other small rays. There is a few pics on the web of them but white ones are realy rare

This is not my tank or my fishes just a pic of the Xingu SP ray in the right corner

Yeah! But not often u see them that white. But i was hoping to get a few and then try to breed and then be able to get a pure white gene.
Also never heard of pup in captivity but maybe sumone made it.

oh.. that belongs to Thomas of Germany.. it's the only pcs left now right?

Yeah Its Thomas. But there is other Snow like this but just handful of them unless they are dead now. So thats why i want to try to breed these and get a nice gene so most of them turn white. Just like ppl try to get a good alinbo leopoldi gene.

Not sure ill make it but somone has to try. But since its a big ray i think it might be hard, due to tank size, and habitat. But only one way to find out

If I'm not wrong.. There use to be 6pcs from this same batch but that's the only pcs left now..
