i have a heater in the tank already, the temperautre have always been 26-27 C ever since the tig got in there. But i mean, this does not really look like the White Spot disease... It looks different, like a "rash" or something....

Well it's a 96 Liter tank with only one datnioides polota as tankmate, and some tiny snails. im using a Resun B-700 l/h innerfilter. and feeding mostly hikari gold sinking pellets, sometimes shrimps. I'm doing watercanges once per week now, 30-40 %. before, i usually did water canges once every 2 weeks, and mabye 20-30 %, but i got worried when the tig got these spots...

Mabye the small and few watercanges was the problem?

exactly, i think it looks like something else!

but as i said, i've put the temp on 30 C and i put in barely 1 dl salt / 100 liters.
now i'll just do some watercanges in the days and hope it gets better...

wat do u tink it is bro? if it is not white spot?

Since u have decided to go ahead with the salt treatment...then keep it up and see how it goes in the nxt couple of days.

BTW, how much is 1dl salt/100 litres??? 1% or 0.1%

i really dont know, but it's worse now. looks like som kind of fungal infection..

i talked to my LFS, he's very good at diseases and thing like that. He said that the only way, prbably, is to medicine for fungus/white spot/paraistes. He said that it could be a parasite... Is it dangerous for this catfish to put in medicine?
