I saw the LEDstrips between $12 to $30 per meter depending on which shop and which brightness.

The AC/DC adapter costs like $15

gmarket selling various types of led and connection. Just bought some a week back. Just that they don't sell the metal casing that TS used as heat sink.

bro...take a walk to your neighbourhood hardware store, ask for "aluminium cable trunking", they should have it.

IP stands for ingress protection.

The first digit indicates the level of protection that the enclosure provides against access to hazardous parts (e.g., electrical conductors, moving parts) and the ingress of solid foreign objects.

The second digit indicates the level of protection that the enclosure provides against harmful ingress of water. IPX5 suggests protection against water jets. Water projected by a nozzle (6.3 mm) against enclosure from any direction shall have no harmful effects. Highest is 8.

The Aluminium Extrusion used is the same use for hangging curtain.
