Whenever I encounter such fish I will use japanese mat as top layer then followed by the cotton wool below. You try and see if the clogging get better.

My 2 footer grow out tank. Gonna shift those fella in there to the 6 footer to join the bigger boys in another month or so liao

Does your lungfish attack your other fishes? Always thought they were solitary fish type.

Whoa koji, growout tank look like main tank!

Kohei, nope. Kept big and small lungs previously. They dont harass my other tankmates, even rays. They are actually quite harmless. Infact its the other fishes that like to nip on the fins of the lungs cause they look abit like worms.
