Hahah, I bought them not long back, the credit goes to the brothers that brought them up.

Mine are just 1x2012 and 4x2013.

Bro Checkerbox, waiting for your advice. Thanks.

CONGRATS! Looks like you have a pair.

I would suggest taking out all the remaining fishes and leave this pair alone in their original tank. If you try taking out this pair, the change of environment will immediately discourage them from breeding unless you're able to replicate the condition in another tank and patient enough to wait for them to get acclimatise to it.

After removing the rest of the group, observe the appetite of this pair. If they started eating aggressively, do feed them as much as possible. The increase in appetite is one of the signs of readiness to breed.

Also, what is your WC routine? Try to increase the amount and frequency of WC. Do WC when temp is cooler, e.g. during rainy days, in the evening during sunset or early at dawn. Preferably WC with aged water and with slightly lower ph.

I came close a few year back with one pair. Hope you'll have better luck than me with yours.

Good luck!

As per bro Checkerboard advice, hope that the pair can be able to breed successfully
