FB a lot more common these days for ease of posting of pics and vids as well as chatting. So not surprised that the trend is heading there. For more in depth discussions forums are still a great place to go.

You might want to check out several FB aquatic groups and send a request to join. There are literally daily posting of pics and vids if you are interested.

Cheers.

For arowana, do you guys think that because of the drop in price which causes hobbyist stop it? and also due to there are more exotic species of fish in the market to choose from.

prices for aros have been very low, especially gold aros, for quite some time if u compare it to a decade or so ago. if anything more ppl started keeping aros, and started to comm them since it's so much more affordable now.. eg 1 xb costs as little as $1xx... compared to a min of $1xxx last time.

more recently prices of reds have dropped as well and more ppl are switching to reds. what's stopping ppl from buying is probably the bad economy, lack of interest in hobby, and not enough space for so many aros lol.

exotic species of fish wise... i dont really see much difference now in the market.. cept the freshwater converted saltwater fish which were not around last time.

thing is unlike other investments, buying aros (or most other fish for that matter, unless u get lucky and stock pile on a certain species which gets banned from import eg l46, STs) are a 1 way ticket expenditure.. u're not going to earn from it and neither will the prices go back up....
