got a scare last 2 nights ago. Discovered this neon green spots.
One forum says, its "neons spots of death" , spots indicating serious problem with tree frogs and death usually follows days after . The other forum however, says that it is nothing to worry about, maybe just some minor irritation of the skin . i observed it for days and.. it comes and goes.. My frog sleeps and gets awake at the right time , eats very well, active at hunting crickets etc.. i think i will just keep on observing.. anyone with similar "neon green spots" can share your views here. *** hunting mode **** Anyone knows where to get vitamins/dewormers/calcium powders for frogs? accepts paypal and ships to Singapore at reasonable price? share! cheers |

apart from that , the better way to go instead of supplements would be gut loading your feeders , i.e feeding your feeders quality stuff like carrots/ vegs/ bread etc. dewormers arent usually sold by fish shops as WTF's are actually still quite rare in the singapore hobby. so the best option is to call up a vet for an appointment , either to bring your frog down or get him to take a visit. The price however for vets in sg is quite high especially for pets like frogs etc , however since deworming isnt done so often , its alright to get it done once in awhile or depending what the vet advises you to do (: just my 2 cents worth , hope this helps. |
