Nice design when adult. I cannot see the gills on the adult. The gills will retract in rich oxygen water like the salamander?

Shld be nippy. Have not tried mixing it with any tankmates.
Quite an active species based on my observation for the last few days. Move constantly and swim around. |

Aba aba is a strange fish that even fight and tear up filter sponge.
According to online info, this lung species max abt 20inch. |

Some online info indicated that they top at 17inch.
So I think 3x2x2 can house them for quite sometime. Since they live a long time, it will take quite sometime to reach to over 1ft. 4x2.5 will be pretty ideal. |
