this picture that you posted here is my own tank.
there are difference in quality is because they are not top grade shrimps, those shrimps that you see in this thread are top quality shrimps.
what you are saying is the shrimps in this thread are not thick shelled like jap shrimps? IMO i think its only the way the picture is taken, i have seen many jap shrimps too, and after i saw shrimps from thailand i think the quality is similar and price is much more acceptable compared to jap shrimps.
all shrimp breeders start out as hobbist too they have the passion to keep the linage as pure as possible and i believe they also focus on the shrimp quality too.

if you were to get high end shrimps which are bred for many generations the offsprings will be very consistent. ( correct me if i am wrong)

Bro Berber, the Thai PRL you posted seems good but I am looking at the quality like below and I am more into solid color and not pattern...If you able to get this quality I am willing to pay...The shrimps are bred in Japan...

Thank a lot and hope to hear from you...

To me a PRL apart of having solid white and red, the white must be clean and not tinted with yellowish spot. But can only see others ownself no chance to own any.
