No chemical involved. It's just like a piece of sponge for cleaning the tank surface where the stubborn stains are. I use them directly in my tanks since day one and no side effect as tested by many as well.

the depth of the tank is 3ft deep,i also sianz to clean myself already,especially to reach the inner walls.
btw i bought another feifeng to join in the cleaner workforce to speed up the process.heehee

The foam is cheap. And you no need to wait for result for instantly you see clean tank if you use the foam yourself.

since already bought two cleaners,i think let them eat till they happy happy,if i start cleaning myself,they will hv gloomy face,worst of all,become no hifin,i sianz....
