I had been using Coralife salt and and very pleaed with the results, and the value-for-money salt. Tubs comes in useful as below.
Read about the impurities and foam when mixing this salt. My experience is : Use a separate tub (those that comes with the Coralife salt ) and mix with all the salt you need into it, stir and let it stay for about 30 minutes (meanwhile, you can suck out the old water from your tank). Then use another tub (again from Coralife ) and mix combination fro first tub and fread water until target level, ie around 1.024 before pour into tank. You will find the mixture sufficiently clear and after couple of hours, the tank should be very clear. My 2cents experience. |
