Hi my Pnt seems to have a problem sinking. It seems to swim to the surface all the time and when it tries to lay on the bottom it seems to be struggling to stay at the bottom (like a swim bladder disease). This happens when I feed it. When I do not feed it for a day or two it does not have this problem so i try cut down its diet to the minimal. I feed it a teaspoon of kaytee pellet food for turtles and some turtle sticks once daily. So far its appetite seems ok. What could be the problem? My pnt is about 14cm. Appreciate any help.

Very good info, thanks Gus.

Have a question : for a aro and ray comm tank, is there any preference for either male or female PNT in terms of behaviour/aggressiveness to attack others, etc ?

What is the general behaviour difference/similarity between a male and female PNT ?

What do you do if you have PNTs and you don't want to keep them anymore?
Since you can't sell them.

may i know whether PNT shells are hard or soft?

wat kind of veggies is suitable for PNT?

wat kind of water parameters are good for PNT?

what causes upturn shells for PNT?

can PNT be comm wif other predatory fishes like arowana, red hooks, FF, tigers, gars, etc etc??
(i know that its better not to comm them wif birchirs..)

i think that should be all for now. hahaha
The shell is hard, hates veggies, turtle pellets are fine, ph 8-8.2 (hardwater), add coral chips, upturn shell due to malnutrition, comms well with gouramis, ikan betok?, snakeheads, other fishes are snacks for PNTs

Low PH or neutral PH puts PNTs at risk with fungus infection (life threatening for them)

Provide some branching drift wood for gouramis to flee to, PNTs don't like to eat gouramis cause they bony, but does not mean they won't bite them for fun due to its predatory instinct.

lol, 3 cents worth of info

Leave them at the doorstep at the Live Turtle and Tortoise Museum in chinese garden?

Surrender them to ACRES, http://www.acres.org.sg/, since they going to have a santuary for animals setup this year in sungei tengah

Find someone who is interested and give it to them if that's allowed.

You may want to feed it food without air like prawns or fish meat.
