Some picture with eggs to share.
Sorry for the poor quality of the shot as it is taken using camera phone with low lighting.

My group of Tapajos keep breeding, but everytime the fries released, it ended up as foods in the community tank. Finally, decided to try something.. stripping the eggs at 2nd day of brooding. This is how it looks like:

2nd day old eggs-fry

5th day if im not mistaken

Free swimming finally...

Wah very nice ! Btw have some newbie questions. I notice that almost all of the setup for this EE have fine white sands,so this white sand doesn't increase ph ?

There may be two types of sand hobbyist using. One is fine river sand and the other is grade zero coral sand.
The former do not affect pH.
The latter however do, but it may not be of much difference if there are driftwoods and plant in the tank.

I use coral sands... it will affect ph, but in the tank with lots of driftwoods, plus a bag of JBL Tormec, everything is just fine..

Coral sand may also help to prevent pH crash too.
Do update us your fries growing progress.
I don't have such a good camera to take such close up pictures.
Congrats again!
