But i was wondering if they would interbreed with each other and produce undesirable looking offspring.

Default shrimps feed on???

hi bros, can anyone tell me wat does shrimps feed on ??
i m new to shrimps n i jus bought some shrimps ( orange col ). some plants...
n jus nw i saw some shrimps climbing on top of each other does it mean mating?? hahahaa really new in shrimps

Thanks for your complement. Some bros said they can interbreed but so far no sign of any pregnancy and didn’t see any female carrying any eggs too. And I will embrace whatever they gave birth too bah.

If you have many shrimps, try algae wafer or algae pellets even though they are capable of searching for something to eat among the mosses.

cherry shrimps. Since you bought orange they are the same species as well, so not much difference.

Do yourself and your shrimps a favour. Go read up e sticky and FAQs in this Freshwater Invertebrates sub-forum. 80-90% of questions have been answered there.

The easiest shrimp are plastic display shrimps. No water condition, no deaths, no headache.
