nah, not in an aircon room for sure. the temp of the main( not shrimp) tank wld surely drop if i on the aircon. my tank is about 40 litres and the fan is made for 60 litres and above. maybe that exxplains all?

yup, tank temp definitely drops in an aircon room... mine drops to a chilly 22 degrees.then when the ac is off, loads of condensation outside tank... think such temp fluctuations (fr 22 to 25) not too good for the shrimps!
