From my observation, northfin krill pellet is as good as live food, my female fish is ready to lay eggs after eating that for a week. Before that on another branded pellets she dun lay eggs.

It depends on how u store it. I double plastic bagged the original packing (already tied tighly with rubber bands), then put in a air tight box. I only small amount in a jar for 1-2 weeks usage each time. It dun turn bad that way.

They should eat krill pellets. Krill is for enhacing redness and maybe good for increasing breeding success. The other pellets formulas hv quite a bit of krill in them.
Nf have a gold fish formula, discus i guess is a cichlid as well. U may want to ask some experts here, cos i am a stranger to discus. Nf pellets is quite hard, so fishes not used to it, you may need to starve them till they accept it. Last edited by millenium; 22-06-2018 at 10:57 PM. |
