lol.. well the old set up.. hmm the flame moss sort of died.. so decided to go for a simpler look.
and also the old set up end result dun look like that, i never took a picture of it before i took it down. buden the plus point of the old set up is tt, the messier it was, the more the crs berried.. in fact, sometimes can see all 4 females berried at the same time. im hoping this setup also can see babies. |

Not sure if you are a joker or what... first talk abt ammonia 'spike' on your face, than ammonia 'spike' by your dog, follow by peeing into bottle/bag. Pee directly into tank la
How to ignore the pump when it's so obvious? Let me assume, the tank is running a chiller? Pump generates heat. Anyway, good that the tank is done. My 4ft tank is STILL empty after such a long time. I think i shall do a wc this week, than let it cycle for another week before introducing guppy or some other fish into e tank to test. |

i made the ammonia solution using ammoniam bicarbonate with water... then i stupidly go touch my face. since i got sensitvie skin, it's itchy, so i never careful, went to tip over the uncapped bottle of ammonia solution on the floor. since my dogs smell the ammonia tt smells like urine, on the floor, he went to pee on it thinking its his pee and its okie to pee there. -.-" thats a dog for you. and erm.. reason why i dun wan to pee directly into the pail is coz i got no aiming power.. no stick, cant aim. cant expect me to sit on the bucket right.. hehehehe.. later the bucket crack ah! the pump also temporary one.. now change back to inlet pipe liaol. so ignore it lor.. its so ugly... gc i really damned pei fu u.. u got alot of patience man! the time it took my media to cycle, really want my life sia. |

I know all those things u said are jokes. I had dogs before, they are a handful. Use vinegar on e pee spots to rid e smell.
For me, I won't even bother abt ammonia solution or such. No need to aim with stick either , can't hold n aim well. I will use a small potion of shrimp food or a dead shrimp in a new tank. Let it rot and 'polute' the water. BB will start to thrive and work on these waste. Have to be patient with cycling la. Shrimps have very little remedy, thus if the tank is not ready and we intro shrimps into it, it may just send the whole lot to their grave. |
