Boardroom politics is different from Army's politics.
SMRT is all about profits and margins unlike SAF is just spend Ah Gong's money.

Now SMRT no longer listed, so Desmond should not worry so much about profit and loss and work on improving the reliability of SMRT trains........

I know of foreigners having difficulty apply for PR despite trying many times. These guys are graduates some more.

I would say garmen still give citizenship or PR, but much lesser and to selective countries. Priority is still on Malaysians.

I just heard they are still pumping in new citizens as there are still as many new citizens ceremonies as in the past.

I notice most are long time in Spore as PR type.
I remember last time the flood gate is open to those that can afford a landed property in Spore will get PR within a year. My Ang Mo client went to buy a landed house at ulu location got PR the following year with his wife.
