Anyway, congrats. Now you can keep alot of bartletts in your tank liao

in fact i was caught between H&S, Aqua C, Berlin n beckett. then i narrow down 2 H&S n Aqua C. edmund advice is with the right tuning, Aqua C can perform better than the H&S. moreover, the look of a H&S does not justify the pricing, thou the performance is.
many reefers will argue tat edmund's advice is due 2 the fact tat he does not bring in H&S, but in fact he does.

Needlewheel skimmer are also more efficient & produce better skimmate. I dun ready agree that H&S is a plug & play. Tuning is still needed, but same as the rest, once set & forget.

There are a number of brands avaliable here. AquaMedic, ASM, Deltec, Euroreef & H&S.

Cheers!

needle wheel technology has proven itself, i must agree 2 tat. however, Aqua c n H&S r using different concept altogether.
4 an Aqua C, even if u use a needle wheel pump 2 drive it, the performance will stil b the same compare 2 a normal pump.

aqua C performs better because its body is taller and contact time with the bubbling is longer, thats why it can skim better.. if you are talking about huge H&S that is driving by 6 or 12 pumps,than.. i think aqua C dont have such big stuffs to compare.

u will notice that all aqua C skimmers have tall bodies.

Sorry bro, I have used a prizm before & a Weipro beat it flat. Older version, heard the Pro is better.
