I have a very vague idea of where is the thermostat box's location.. hence, i seek yer enlightenment on where the location is which you have already very kindly pointed out to me..i would like to thank you for that now a new question arise, the in/out piping is incorporated to the chiller, I don not see any box....so which box are you refering to? am I correct to say that the thermostat is not clearly visible unless one dismantle the chiller? thx again... |

Its fixed permanently into the box so I dont think you can see it from outside. If the flowrate to the chiller is too low .. the water will chill rapidly in the heat exchanger, register a "false" cold temperature and turn off the chiller. The water will gradually get replaced with warmer water and triggers the chiller to start again. In this case .. you can get a higher flowrate pump or use a external thermostat. If the total volume of yr tank is too small .. the same thing happens. The water chill too rapidly and warmed up too rapidly due to the small volume. In this case, there is nothing much you can do as the chiller is oversized. External thermostat also no use. So you must determine what kind of problem you are facing now. If you are running it on a 4 footer, the total volume shouldnt be a problem. |
