One single cockcroach will not kill your finish, from what I gather, if the insect was heavily sprayed it would have died on the spot, rather than flew into the tank. Another factor to consider is the size of the fish , if it is small then the chances survival are less, due to higher concentration of Baygon. Your fish will be OK.

insecticides are called insecticides because they selectively kills insects. Unless your aro consumed large quantity, there should be no adverse effect on your aro.

i have a fren when he was away, his aro died. He came back and determined to find out what killed his fish and when he cut open the fish he found a dead cockroach. He questioned his maid and she told him that she has killed it with insecticide and fed it to the fish. I do not make up this story and i sincerely hope your aro will be ok.
