have to agree with you on the diet & shit part...my aro too had this problem earlier which was also relapsing...i didn't approached Vetduck though but what i did was reduced feed & changed to total mp without shell diet...so far it didn't relapse [touch wood]....now i only give bullfrog occasionally....

Slowly lor, today you feed then thursday try again! Fast it for a day or two then feed again....training your aro to take mp.

i got this aro from a bro which say this aro can 3mp n 20plus sw a day but end up only like to eat sw...

Hi,

If your Aro only takes SW, maybe you can change to mealworm. The solution now is to feed it softer food to aid easy digestion and easier on the anus for output, and to buy time for recovery. Try feeding only mealworms which has just shed its shell(white colour).
Once your aro have swollen anus problem, it is here to stay. It may recover but may reoccur now and then. My rtg does not have this problem but my red sometime shows it because from young I fed dried prawns and kanna this problem, really regret it. So diet have to adjust for my red from time to time.
