i think sometimes crossed barbel in uncorrectable la... maybe you need to perform small operation....if still like that, maybe due to genes lo...just think that it's more special than the others...

Cover up all the sides of your tank for a few days and see if it will straightens because your aro will make use of its barbels. Keep it in total darkness.

Also, like alot of bros here said, your water parameters must be good to aid the process.

Palmer is right.

I have Aro breeder fren who said the same thing - aros' use their barbels as sensors in the wild for food, changes in water temp, cond etc etc.

Keep Aro in the dark for a few days up to 5-10 days and see if things improve.

My own aro also had this problem since 4" - now about 15" all's OK.

Hope all goes well bros.

Thx.

Hi bro, how big is your PG. If it's small, there is a good chance that the barbels will uncross. Just maintain good water perimeters. Got one of those 1K small crossback at approx 4 plus inch. The barbels was crossed when i place it into the tank. After 3 months, barbels now uncross liao

By the way, rarely see big aro with cross barbels which means there is still hope yet.
