wood is better cos shrimps will cling on to the wood to feed on those micro organisms on the wood. she wont bother about rock if there is no food. try to find those wood that have a "round" end. u can really c the ray wrap it up like a ball. at 1st when i saw my MM do that i was thinking what he trying to do. then i realize there is lots of shrimps on the wood for him to eat. u not feeding shrimps right? try some u will enjoy looking at the rays hunting on the DW.
