Me untrained eye...dunno anything abt these stuff....

but 2nd pic color seemed.. dead.

Like no.. gradient? too... sharp.. glaring in fact.

1st pic looks better. Eye less pain

I unsharp mask the image twice.
No need to save image after each unsharp mask process.
I feel its better to do slight adjustments on top of each other multiple times.. then to one time heavy adjustment.

Typically, overly done images with unsharp mask filter makes the image very flat.
To the trained eye, they see it.
To the untrained eye, they love it. Which is very much the majority of people viewing the images. Hence purpose of this poll!

Ok.. i'm an oddball.

But i guess ppl prefer it coz the colors look.. sharper/brighter?
The exact stuff tat's causin my eye-ache?

Btw.. is it me or is the white part of the fish lookin kinda... violet? - aft u enhance tat is *rubs eyes*

I like #2 too. That is the main purpose of the software, to make the picture look better. But that is if straight out of the cam it doesn't look good.
I enhanced all my pic to some degree.
