they can mix well if your aro is not fierce.. my aro only first few weeks never whack.. after that chasing became often.. angels started to hide behind pump.. selling those angels away already..

no worries bro..actually if u keep ur aro well fed, they wont harass ur tankmate... my angel roam around the tank freely after aro ate his meal.. this fierce guy whacks alot of fishes but only did slight chasing to the angels.. so i guess u can give it a try too..
