you really need to upgrade that tank soon that is very small. also with a tank that small and a big bio load like that if wc's dont increase soon then there is big chances of loosing some rays. adding a cannister will not solve your problems you need more water volume, room, and more filtration.

Good Luck

Seriously, diet mainly mp and only 1 wc a week is nt advisable lah. Since u got the passion to keep, why not spend some efforts on wc.

Aso 422 is really too small to keep so many pairs of rays, u really gotta curb ur purchases bro.

All asides, nice collection

2 options

1) I have been thinking, trying to make space for a FGT to keep some of the rays, still not able to identify where to place it.

2) Since they are only pups, biggest maybe about reaching 6" , but most of them under 5". I will decide which ones to keep and sell the rest away... if I am unable to add anymore tank/FGT.

For now, safest bet will have to make sure WC intervals is more often...

Thanks for all of the advices, appreciate it

on that size tank one maybe two would be ok for a year or two but will outgrow it. so a larger tank is a must if you would like to keep any of them long term.

also i dont know why but i guess im the only person bothered by it but these seem to be regular marbles and not royals since the royals have the real short squiglies and regulars are more bold longer lines. they look amazing but they just arent a royal. i like these much better than a royal though.

its no problem the thing is is that some people refer to royal as being an above average marble but really the trend and norm for them are like this http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/fo...d.php?t=362836

the two bigger ones are royal. this being said sticking to calling royals only this varient of marble is allot better so we know what we are buying as hobbyiest.

some sellers will make up names for their rays like king royal AAA's and what not trying to make an extra $ off of the buyer as now it sounds special when sometimes these rays are even below average lol. but really on the royal marble we can differentiate between royal and regular.

so dont feel bad that yours are regular cause they are good looking regular's
