Yes I always do WC 70% some time 80%.. top up straight from tap but slow flow..
I'm using Prime n i always add another 20% extra during WC..

Here is my 70%-80% WC with P13, Goldie, RTG n SBKM
(Will take BDs WC next time round)

Top up direct from tap, but very slow flow it take 1 hr plus to fill my tank

beautiful rays great looking tank and water quality!

As for the % of WC...that's a BIG WOW!...be careful with that quantity of a change....sometimes it's better with more changes at less %...too much risk of temperature fluctuations and also potential water chemistry changes from treatment plant. I too use prime but I have a auto water drip that change out 65-70gal per 24 hours so no water change but a water "Exchange" :-)

75-80% change is dangerously high....IMHO...but if it works for you, it works! :-)
