The distinct marking missing is the "shine" on them.

This is based on the observation from what I observed from the true napoensis from another fish keeper who has it.

The shine will take a while to develop.

The only doubt is whether it could be C nanus. If the black blotch is on every specimens, then C napoensis is high chance.

Re: Shine. It's like Corydoras pantanalensis, it looks drape at the initial stage and could take months before the batik patterns appear.
