Cheap and Good Medicine to treat Fin Rot

One of my fish suffer Fin Rot for a week. I had try every thing but all don't work. Find this " OCEAN Free General Aid Special " at one LFS. Only 2 day the Fin Rot stop and gone.

Just want to share with your.

Dear all,

I noticed some black dots appearing on the fins of my green masked plakat. I am wondering if it is some disease or natural coloration of the fish. Please advice, thanks!

Perhaps you could post some pics? I've seen some bettas with spots on their fins be4..those were part of their colours.

hellooo.

i dont wanna waste one whole thread.
so i decided to share thread in here instead. ;p

anyway, my betta has been hanging tail down for almost 2-3 days alrdy.
it doesnt flare up when i put the other hm next to it either.
However, its still eating consistantly.
Isit sick?

a fish not flaring could be due to a few reasons. firstly might be scared or had a loss in ferocity then the remedy would be to put some indian almond.
The second reason might be that the fish is not very healthy.
From the pic seems like the fish is a bit lethargic with fins that are not spread out maybe the fish not totally sick since it can still eat but immune system not very good. assuming the fish to be fed regularly with clean water, maybe would have to also take into account how the fish swims or is it always staying on the surface b4 exactly dignosing what disease.

fish is sick.. but i cant be sure of wat.. do a water change for him 50%. add in new aged water and ktp ... and some salt..

okay. when u say salt, isit like regular salt? or is there like a special kind of salt?
bcos the last time when my cardinal was sick and i added salt, IT DIED! :'(
