wild caught fishes usually more timid when first introduced to the tank. ( when they were in the lake, they never see people walking around them before) Quarantine them for 1 week to observe. If all goes well, can mix with your other EEs. I'm sure they'll recover soon after that.

the smaller one seems to be geting better comapred to the bigger piece.

updates of the 2 "altifrons".

the QT tank is placed next to the EE setup and now they are much more active and fierce. whenever any EEs from the 5ft swim near the QT tank area, 2 of them will swim up fast n "knock" on the glass... dunno are they excited to see some of their partners or they are picking a fight. i think its more of the later.
still refuse to eat when im present however i notice alot of poo in the tank...

are altifron this fierce? or are the 2 fishes not even altifron??

Only got 1 balzanii.
Looking into keeping more EE. esp, those colourful ones.

yeah...those are altifronts...agree with bro fresh...ur setup looks good...u bought them from QH?

Thanks for the spelling correction. Tank is 4x2x2, sump tank, nanas on driftwood. Currently the EE are sharing the tank with 5 small clown loaches, cardinal tetra & 4 blue diamond discus.

Haha, maybe is a rojak tank.
