Very noisy during mating season. Wanted to get, but gave up the idea. It would be ideal if you can house them in aircon environment. Saw a lot in australia when I went for training with SAF years back. Thoses were red eye type, damn chio.

Might cause indigestion or something, due to the exo-skeleton of the mealworms. A read up online will show that crickets are recommended as its staple diet. Mealworms only fed as a treat.
Not that their jaws will drop without calcium powder, kept them before without supplementing with calcium, no issue. But their diet lacks variety, hence we would add supplements for them. Not only limited to calcium though, vitamins can be added as well. |
