Just taken a video of kungweensis fries at day 16th. They are around 6-7mm now. Counted about 20pcs

Initially, I thought the male will eat the fries as what my wife told me previously, but I have witnessed a few time during the 1st week when in danger or if the fries wonder too far away, the male will scoop up the fries and put it back into shell or near the female. Will monitor them closely. When they are bigger, I will transfer them out and leave a few female in the tank as this breed supposed to be harem |
