hi, im pretty new to puffers, only kept a palembang one before. may i ask if mbu puffers need higher or lower pH? and also are they well known for attacking other tankmates? plan to comm with tigers and such but im not sure if the conditions are suitable. Thanks all

Mbu, needs freshwater a neutral pH with slight variation is good.
Know a guy to keep a Mbu in pH 8-8.5 with no issue. Not sure about acidic water though. They are known to be the more mild temperamental bigger puffer, however they can be fin nipper but that may vary with specimen. Just share what I know, can learn more from some website. |
