Frankly speaking. Aros love cool water but not cold. Warm not really their kinda water. I have been keeping my aros in their tank without heaters since day one and yet they're eating and growing as usual. Unless you're in an airconditioned room. Other than that, I doubt our tank's water tempreture can drop until where sia.
As for your situation, I more or less will conclude that it's under stress that's why it's not swimming much in there. What I'm talking about free swimming fishes are fishes which swim around mid water level and not bottom.... These fishes will usually take up some space in the tank which make it look busy so the aro will feel more comfortable and not feeling "empty" and intimidating.... |
