I think that overall, not necessarily la...most important is that your breeding space is not subject to fluctuations in temp as a result of cool winds or heavy rain, it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

My house is near the sea and during the cold season or when sea breeze is damn strong, I just wrap the spawnin tanks with unwanted towels to keep the temp warm and relatively constant. And so far...it's been thankfully good... Nonetheless, if you feel the need to get it, do go ahead. What's important is that your fishes spawn. All the best!!

Start small, breed one pair first to get back the skills.

If you have space constraints, then just keep to one color, your favorite color.

i already bought the things and started the breeding set up. but i think the male is too small and the female is too big.

the male is a butterfly delta tail? maybe its a juv. wasn't able to find any good ones at the tampines yun feng.:x if this pair fail's i guess i gotta go to the farm with my dad

Don't breed your bf delta, better you go pasir ris farmway yun feng to get the better and bigger male

it didnt have a chance to breed,it just died...the female was too fierce
now im just staring at it lying on the bottom of the tank motionless.but i have a lavender bf hmpk. but try try only.

how to get to yun feng? can take taxi? or can i take the bus?

side note: the lavender bf hmpk is making a bubble nest after introducing the female to him,i thought he was not interested but i guess he was!.

the male is a lavender bf hmpk,the female i think its a marble monkey face? black white,has green coloured spots on her body and a long tail fin.
lets hope this is gonna be successful,else its time to go to pasir ris

Woah, that must be one seriously fierce girl you got there. You really don't want the female to be significantly bigger than the male.

Just wondering, did you condition your fishes before breeding? Doing that usually improves egg yield. I wouldn't try to breed my bettas too soon after getting them.

Btw, you can take bus 359 frm pasir ris int to get to Yun Feng. Involves abit of walking.
